Writing a short story is not easy, but the hardest part is choosing a title and creating a cover.

At least that is what I am finding.

Join in the fun of the 

Grassroots Writers’ Weekend in Coffs Harbour 

  Only $25 for a weekend of workshops.

This will be a hands-on, practical weekend of workshops for the beginning, the aspiring and the published writer … something for everyone.

We will provide practical ‘doing’ workshops for everyone from school students to the senior members of the community who enjoy writing.

The Weekend is called the ‘Grassroots Writers’ Weekend’ to indicate the workshop, ‘back to basics’ nature of the event.

This event follows on from the highly successful inaugural Grassroots Writers’ Weekend organised by the Dorrigo Writers’Group and held in Dorrigo over the Anzac weekend in 2014.

Registration is only $25.

Accommodation and optional dinners are extra.

The 2015 Grassroots Writers’ Weekend is hosted by the Coffs Harbour Writers’ Group.

Last year the Dorrigo Writers' group hosted the inaugural Grassroots Gathering. A wonderful weekend. Inspiring, supportive and fun.  Now Coffs Harbour writers group is hoping to emulate their success.
